Welcome aboard, Allison! If someone offered me the opportunity to sail with Disney Cruise Line, but they'd choose my stateroom, I'd be all in! No matter where we've stayed on the ship, we've had amazing experiences! However, since I normally book it all myself, I do have some preferences for stateroom locations, so I'm really glad you asked.
My family and I prefer to stay mid-ship on a mid-level deck. Why? Yes, less motion of the ship, but honestly, just because it is the most convenient spot! We're close to the midship elevators, but if we need to go Forward or Aft, it's a short walk too. On the Dream, I love staying on Deck Seven or Deck Eight. Both above and below these decks are only other staterooms, so you won't have any issues with noise coming from the clubs. I think you'll be very happy with a stateroom on Deck Seven, Allison. The pool is on Deck Ten, so you can quickly take the stairs up or down and of course, the elevators will take you everywhere. But, it's nice to be just a few decks from the pool so you can skip the elevators at busier times. Check out the
Deck Plans for yourself!
So, go ahead and book that gorgeous Deck Seven
Oceanview Stateroom with a Verandah, Allison! Plan to enjoy some luxurious relaxation on your verandah as you pull into port and perhaps even do like I do and take advantage of the
complimentary Room Service to enjoy breakfast al fresco on your own private verandah! There's nothing quite like lounging in my robe, feet up, breathing in the fresh Bahamian air as we pull into Castaway Cay and I'm enjoying coffee on the verandah. Ah, with snow outside my window right now, that scene sounds all the more enticing! I'm excited for you to set sail, Allison!
