Hello - Can you help me? We are looking to come 27th August and plan a park hopper - please can you confirm the parades and fireworks on that day and also that Oogie Boogie Bash is not on that day ?

Welcome to planDisney, Danielle! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner, and I’m so excited to help you plan a frightfully fun and magical day.

I took a look at the Daily Events Calendar, and I have some great news to share! On August 27th, the dazzling Paint the Night parade is currently scheduled for two showings: one at 8:30 PM and another at 10:30 PM. Earlier in the day, the Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade will enchant guests along Main Street, U.S.A. at 1:30 PM and again at 2:45 PM. While Halloween Screams won’t include fireworks that night, it will feature spooky projections. Trust me, you won’t want to miss Zero, the ghostly pup from The Nightmare Before Christmas, soaring above Sleeping Beauty Castle in a hauntingly heartwarming flight!

Over at Disney California Adventure, there will not be an Oogie Boogie Bash event that evening, which means the park will remain open to all Guests through closing. You’ll also have the chance to experience World of Color Happiness! at both 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM. For even more Halloween fun, be sure to catch Mickey’s Trick and Treat inside the Disney Theater, featuring multiple kid-friendly showings throughout the day. And over at Plaza de la Familia, the Storytellers will bring The Musical World of Coco to life in a celebration filled with music, heart, and vibrant Día de los Muertos traditions.

And there’s more magic lurking in every corner! At Disneyland, Main Street will be aglow with whimsical jack-o’-lanterns and festive autumn garlands. Make your way to New Orleans Square to experience Haunted Mansion Holiday, where Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town have decked the halls in true Nightmare style. Here’s a Q-Tip: stop by around dusk to catch Jack’s ghostly “lighting ceremony.” It’s a delightfully eerie way to welcome the evening.

As you can see, Danielle, there’s no shortage of spirited fun during your visit. If you have any other questions or need more spellbinding suggestions, feel free to reach out again.

Have a magical (and slightly spooky!) visit!
