Help! We are leaving for WDW in the next month and I am unable to get dinner reservations for Chef Mickey. I have three girls ages 11,8,5 and would like to take them to a character dinner. Any suggestions on a dinner for these ages?

    Hi Bonnie,

I have visited WDW with my girls from the age of 7 and their very favourite character meals are -

Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom - This is a fun buffet and the characters that are normally present are Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.

The Garden Grill in Epcot - The characters here tend to be Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale and the food is delicious. The menu normally consists of steak, turkey, fish, potatoes and vegetables all served family style.

And their very favourite is 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. This is also a dinner buffet and the characters are normally Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (Cindy's Step-Mum), Anastasia and Drizella (Ugly Step-Sisters) The food is good but the reason my girls love it so much is because the Step-Sisters are just hilarious they literally laugh for the entire meal.

You can see a list of all the character meals in WDW by clicking HERE and then selecting "character Dining" from the drop down list on the left titled "Dining Experience". You can also see a list of menus on the dining pages of www.allears.net

I hope you find a restaurant to suit your family and you have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
