HELP! I leave in 3 days and I see a lot of rain in the future! I have ADR at Luau and am worried about it being cancelled. How will I be notified? Should I make backup ADR?

    Yvette,
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have actually had the unfortunate luck of having been to a rained out performance at the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Here's the deal: we still had dinner at the venue, and although it was wet, we were covered (and we were seated up front and center) and stayed pretty dry. At that time (and your experience may vary with this, as Disney policies are subject to change at any time and without notice), I believe half of the cost of our dinner was refunded since we did not have a chance to see the show. Disney policy is that multiple restaurant reservations are not allowed (specifically that you cannot have one reservation within two hours of another reservation). You are welcome to cancel your reservation for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and make an additional dining reservation if the possibility of inclement weather bothers you. You should give at least 24 hours notice to avoid being charged a $10 per person fee.

I've been a Florida resident for over 30 years and I've got to tell you, the weather here can change at a moment's notice. Good luck with the dinner show!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
