Help! I'm freaking out about taking the stroller on the bus. Where exactly does it go? An umbrella type folds nice but not enough storage. I want to bring my big one but scared I will get looks.

    Hi Mary,

Ok here is hoping I can calm you fears. Your stroller needs to be able to fold and be carried onto the Disney buses. It will either stand next to you in the aisle or your seat. There are certainly advantages to both types of strollers. The umbrella one will be much easier to fold, lift and carry on and off the buses, however it has little if any storage space, often does not recline for naps in the park and may not offer as much room or comfort to your child. The larger strollers will certainly offer your child a comfortable ride and provide the much needed storage space for backpacks. sippy cups, shopping bags, rain ponchos and more.

Personally, I would choose the larger stroller as you will find the advantages it offers far outweighs the added struggle to transport it on Disney buses. Trust me, I have seen some strollers larger than my car I think, dragged onto the buses. Now of course these have met with funny looks from tired guests trying to maneuver around it, but as long as the stroller can be collapsed and is portable, it can be carried onto the bus. If you are staying at a resort on the monorail system, or an Epcot resort located behind the World Showcase entrance, you will have often the advantage of being able to leave your stroller unfolded when using the Disney monorails and boats.

Wishing you a magical, and worry-free trip!
