Hey Miranda! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
You're in for such a (trick or) TREAT when you visit
Walt Disney World Resort and attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! While I won't make it down to The Most Magical Place on Earth for Halloween this year, I'm certainly going to be missing out on
Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks. Make sure to grab an extra
Jack-O-Lantern Float from Sunshine Tree Terrace for me since I won't be able to visit and get one this October!
I'm so glad that you took an extra few minutes to read the
official costume guidelines so you know exactly what to expect when it comes to setting yourself up for some spooky fun. I love that you're ready to go "all in" on dressing like your favorite Disney princess - I love Rapunzel too! You're correct that the guidelines state that no costume "may reach or drag on the ground" but lucky enough for you, Rapunzel's beautiful purple dress hits right at mid-calf throughout the movie. If you hem your dress so that it looks even more like hers and does not present as a tripping hazard for you or other Guests it should be just fine to party in the Park!
The only other thing that will alter your practically perfect costume will be that, unlike Rapunzel, you'll need to wear shoes! I think some light pink ballet flats would be comfy enough to dance and play in all night.
Enjoy every magical moment you spend at the Theme Parks and at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
