Hi. Can you help me with my hotel choice: AoA or POR? I like quiet and calm, and am afraid that I won't have that at all at AoA. But the girls (4 / 6) would love AoA mermaid rooms. Price diff is not relevant, if we get a discount for POR (going in May).Tks

    Hi Melanie!

You have a tough decision because both of those Walt Disney World resorts are wonderful! I often have a difficult time choosing between resorts as well!  I stay at a different resort each time I visit so I can experience them all first-hand and help guests with their choice!

Personally, between Art of Animation and Port Orleans, I would choose Art of Animation because of the amazing theming, huge pool and awesome food court. Your girls will also love the Little Mermaid rooms.

However, if you are looking for a calm, serene resort, you may prefer Port Orleans. The resort is more spread out and quieter than Art of Animation. The beautiful water and New Orleans setting make way for a relaxing environment. You can also request a Royal Princess Room, which is decorated with fiber optic fireworks on the headboard, Aladdin's magic carpet, royal mirror and more. Your girls will love the room and the resort!

I hope you have a magical vacation, no matter what resort you choose!

    Magically,
    Stacy
