Help! We are family of 5 with 1 with autism and special diet. In Buffet Dining, I reserved for 5 but only 4 will eat since my son has special diet. Is this possible to only let 4 people eat for family of 5? Possible for us to bring special meal for him?

    Hello Maria Isabel,

Thank you for brining your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are correct, typically, each Guest, unless under the age of 3, is charged the cost of an adult or child meal when dining at a Walt Disney World Table Service Buffet or All-You-Can-Eat restaurant. While, I do not have a clear yes or no answer, my advice is, speak to the Cast Member upon check-in and/or the manager about your son and his needs. While the chefs, at Walt Disney World, are very accommodating of Guest's special dietary needs, I am also sure they are very understanding of the comfort your son has when it comes to his familiar foods he likes. With a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust, I am sure it will all work out.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
