Hi, Adrienne! Walt Disney World can be overwhelming to those who visit frequently, so I understand how it can cause stress to plan your first vacation there! Let's start by taking a deep breath and knowing it will all come together!
You will be eligible to make advanced dining reservations 90 days prior to your arrival. I STRONGLY suggest you make reservations for any dining experiences you don't want to miss. The dining plan is very popular, and some restaurants, like Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Le Cellier will fill up. Browse the restaurants and menus to see where you'd like to eat, and plan your days around the dining. (A good place to do that is
www.allears.net .) If you book an EPCOT restaurant, plan to spend that day at EPCOT. If you book a Magic Kingdom restaurant - or one at a resort on the monorail - spend that day at Magic Kingdom.
The weather in September is warm and humid, so you'll want to plan for shorts, tees, and sunscreen! If the kids will wear baseball caps, that's a good way to keep the sun off of their faces. If you are planning to visit a water park, you might want to schedule it midway through your vacation as kind of an off day from the theme parks. You could do that evening at Downtown Disney at one of the restaurants there, or plan to have dinner at one of the resort hotels.
Let each boy have a say in the game plan. Have them check out
www.disneyworld.com to see the rides and attractions, and give each boy the opportunity to voice what he'd like to see and do.
WHEW! We're going to get you through this, and I hope with our help, your vacation is absolutely magical!
