Walt Disney World theme parks began a phased reopening on September 30.
Magic Kingdom Park, as well as EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are all open and operating at this time. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is scheduled to reopen on October 2. Please check the

Although Walt Disney World Resort was spared from the incredible devastation that has affected other areas of Florida, there have been power outages in nearby communities. Residents, including some Cast Members, have experienced flood and wind damage to their homes and vehicles, or have loved ones who have suffered significant loss. It takes people to make the magic. Our wonderful Cast Members have quite literally "weathered the storm" and are back making magic once again for Guests. We are all feeling extra appreciative for everything they do. I'm sure some extra kindness and patience would be appreciated in return.
