Hiya Stacy! Welcome to
planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you find answers to their Disney vacation questions. I’m so glad you decided to stop by to ask about using fitness centers during your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort.
While
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is my go-to Value Resort at Walt Disney World, with fun theming throughout, access to the
Disney Skyliner, and lots of shopping and food options available at Everything Pop, it unfortunately does not have a Fitness Center. You can stay fit while staying here by taking advantage of the Jogging Trails available. There are 1.1-mile and 1.38-mile loops available around Hourglass Lake and through the resort.
Deluxe Resorts, like
Disney’s Riviera Resort,
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, all have Fitness Centers. One Moderate Resort,
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, boasts a Fitness Center as well. The Fitness Centers at these resorts are available only to Guests staying there.
Shades of Green Resort is a resort located in the heart of the magic at Walt Disney World Resort. This resort is only available for booking by active duty and retired U.S. Military Personnel. This might be an option for your active duty friend if you are considering a stay at a different resort to have Fitness Center access. They offer spacious rooms, several dining options, and a Fitness Center for resort Guests.
I hope this information helps your active duty Pal stay on top of their fitness during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Have a magical vacation, Stacy! If we can answer more of your vacation questions, please come back and see us here at planDisney.
