Hello, We’re going to Disney World in October, trying to get ideas for souvenirs for the kids ages 2 and 4. I’m wondering if you can buy kid board games, kid card games and bath toys? If so where to find them? And what the price range is? Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Brittany!

I was just at Walt Disney World Resort this month with my kiddos, and I have a two-year-old too! I am happy to sprinkle some pixie dust into your vacation planning, thanks for your question!

Before heading to Walt Disney World, check out the Disney Store website. You can find a wide range of souvenirs for Mouseketeers of all ages, to give you an idea of what you may find on-site and for prices. I usually visit Disney Springs the day before (or mid-vacation) and head to World of Disney for my souvenir shopping. This is THE store for all things Disney Parks, whether it's vacation gear, princess costumes, or home decor. The toy section had plenty of plush toys, dolls, action figures, and games for Mouseketeers of all ages. I purchased a Disney Animator's Collection Moana playset for my two-year-old while I was here. I have purchased the Disney Parks Monopoly set and various Thomas Kinkade Disney Parks puzzle sets here too! If you have LEGO fans in your family, you can find various Disney-themed LEGO sets at The LEGO store, and have the opportunity to create your own LEGO figurine in the LEGO Minifigurine Factory!

If you are looking for specific souvenirs from certain films, such as The Princess and the Frog, Star Wars, or Toy Story, check out the gift shops located near these attractions. At Critter Co-Op near Tiana's Bayou Adventure, I purchased Tiana's Gumbo Cooking Playset for my two-year-old, and it was around $30 with tax. Other gift shops I recommend for souvenir shopping are the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park and the Creations Shop at EPCOT. What's great about these two shops (as well as World of Disney) is that you can use the Merchandise Mobile Checkout feature within your My Disney Experience mobile app for a quicker checkout! Scan your items as you shop, and pay with your phone. At the exit, you'll find a Cast Member who will scan the QR code you receive upon payment for verification, bag up your souvenirs, and you are free to go! At these three stores, the lines tend to be long, and it's nice having this feature!

Brittany, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Send me questions at any time if you need additional assistance planning your visit! You've got a friend in me!
