Hello, We are visiting in July, are we able to watch the fireworks on the rooftop of Paradise Pier without staying in the hotel? Thanks!

    Hi there Holly May,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a magical day.

Watching the fireworks burst high above Sleeping Beauty Castle is one of our must-dos during our vacation at the Disneyland Resort. There are numerous locations throughout Disneyland Park for viewing fireworks, our favorite is on Main Street, U.S.A. by the Main Street Train Station and near “it’s a small world” attraction.

Unless you are a registered Guest of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, you are not permitted access to the rooftop pool deck to view Disneyland Park fireworks. Your valid room key would grant you access to that special viewing area where the music and dialogue from the firework show are piped in for Guests to enjoy.

If you decide to stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or the Disneyland Hotel and choose a concierge room, you will have the opportunity to utilize your resort Concierge Lounge to view the firework show with streaming music and dialogue as well. Please note a concierge room is an additional cost but has perks with this cost. My family loves to book this type of room because we like to take mid-day breaks to go to the Concierge Lounge for snacks and drinks.

I hope this is helpful and that you have a Jolly time. If you have any more questions please write us back on how we can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    chEARs!
