Hello, We have an upcoming trip this summer and I was wondering if the small shampoo bottles have been replaced with the dispenser type at Kidani Village? With 4 kids, if I can pack less, I would love to!

    Hiya Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are about to stay at my most favorite Disney Vacation Club Resort! It is our primary “home,” and every time we visit, the first thing we do is check out the savanna to see if we have any new “family” members!

In an effort to reduce plastic waste, Walt Disney World is slowly replacing its travel-sized toiletries with refillable wall-attached containers. As of this moment, the H20+ Beauty (Sea Salt is my favorite smell ever!) shampoo, body wash, lotion, and conditioner are still mini sized, but by the time you visit this summer, they may have transitioned over. Regardless, unless your children use a specific brand of soap and hair wash, there is no need to pack toiletries. Even if you run out of the travel-sized toiletries, Mousekeeping will be more than happy to replenish them during your trip.

During your stay, make sure to have a meal at Sanaa. It is the perfect blend of delicious food and safari ambiance. My children’s favorite dinner on property is the Butter Chicken, and we all adore the Indian-style bread service. Afterward, head to the savanna outlook for animal viewing with night vision goggles. It is an entirely new and breath-taking way to watch the animals at play.

Jessica, I hope you have a magical vacation. Asante Sana!
