Hello, We are traveling with our 2 and 5 year old and we would like to see the other hotels on and off the monorail line. Which hotels would you recommend that my kids would enjoy to walk around/some free activity? Thank you!

    Hi Marsha,

I love that you are going to visit other resorts while at the Walt Disney World Resorts. My family often dines at the resorts because they have great restaurants.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge would definitely be a choice for you. This beautiful resort has animals and interesting collection of art. You can enjoy a meal at Boma or Sanaa and tour the resort.

Another fun resort would be the Wilderness Lodge. This resort looks like it is in the Pacific Northwest. It even has a geyser! You can grab something to eat at my favorite restaurant, the Whispering Canyon Cafe. This restaurant has horse races and Lincoln logs to keep the kids entertained.

Fort Wilderness is a great place to visit as there is a petting zoo, carriage rides and other outdoor activities. It is a fun resort to spend the day being outdoors.

The last resort, the Polynesian, is best to enjoy at night before the Magic Kingdom fireworks. The beach has one of the best viewing locations.

Remember to travel between resorts, you need either a park or Downtown Disney to be a transfer point. Rarely can you go from resort to resort.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
