Hello! We are thinking of booking a cruise to the Caribbean (Eastern more likely). Are the beach adventures on private beaches? Or can people come onto the beach and sell things while there disturbing the quiet time with the family? Thank you very mu

    Ahoy Mary Beth!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  My family enjoyed the Eastern Caribbean on the Disney Fantasy this past spring so I know your crew will love it too!  Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventure Team does an amazing job of partnering with the tour operators to provide you with memorable excursions ashore.  From my past experiences, I have not had any issues with vendors, but there are many beach adventures offered so I can't promise this won't happen.  You may find vendors selling souvenirs around the beach area, but not actually on the beach.  Usually after saying no once, they will leave you alone.  If you want to experience a beach in the Caribbean, I definitely recommend booking through Disney Cruise Line to better your chances of not encountering the vendors.
Thank you for visiting with your question, Mary Beth!  If I can assist you again, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
