Hello! We are taking our son to WDW in Sept. It is a family trip We know it's late, but would like to try to get into character dining. How do we find out which characters are at which events? Ideally we would see Mickey, Toy Story crew, or Sophia

    Hi Kelli,

Character dining is a great way to enjoy a meal and have a fun time with characters! It also saves time because you are not waiting twice - once for a meal and once for a character.

When you visit the Walt Disney World Resorts website, there is a location under Things to Do which says All Dining. From here, you can click Character Dining and you will see a list of all the restaurants which offer character dining. It will list which meals characters are available and the characters who generally dine at those meals. Characters are always subject to change.

Mickey Mouse has his own restaurant, Chef Mickey's which I like only for breakfast. The other meals are okay but Mickey is the star here. Sofia the First can by found at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios for just breakfast and lunch. She is also in Animation Court along with the other Disney Junior friends.

Buzz, Woody and the other Toy Story gang can be seen at Pixar Place in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Each park has a list of places to meet characters. It can be found on the website under Entertainment or on the Daily Time Guides given out at each park.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
