Hello! We are surprising our kids (12, 10) with a Disney cruise for New Years. On Pinterest I saw a cute printable "Congrats you are going on a Disney Cruise" ticket but the link is now gone. Can you help!?

    Ahoy, Mary!

How exciting that you will be surprising your children with a Disney Cruise Line vacation! We did this same thing before our very first cruise back in 2010. For Christmas, my husband and I wrapped a large box in Disney wrapping paper. We tied the top shut with a ribbon. Inside, we attached three helium balloons that would rise up out of the box when my daughters opened the lid. On the balloons, there were the words "Disney Cruise January 16". Once my girls read the words, they were jumping around the family room, screaming!

I have seen so many ways to surprise kids with a Disney vacation. You can find TONS of videos on YouTube. While I'm not totally sure of the ticket that you saw, I am sure you can search Pinterest for other ideas, too.

If you are crafty, I have used my Cricut to cut out Disney Font letters for many projects. You could also make the kids a nautical-themed paper chain countdown that they could open. I have also heard of parents wrapping up vacation-related items in a new backpack or suitcase and the kids putting a "puzzle" together. The possibilities are endless!

I hope you have a wonderful Disney New Year's cruise! Be sure to go to the atrium on New Year's Eve to experience the confetti "raining" down on you...it is amazing!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
