Hello, We are staying at a Non Disney resort. What is the easiest way to get to Magic Kingdom? Where do we park? I read online that we have to park somewhere other than the actual park? Just curious, will be there in 30 days!!!! Super excited Jillian

Hi Jillian and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to know that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in the next month! Autumn is a great time to visit!

My family and I have stayed off-site many times during our visits. The front desk of your hotel will usually give you directions to any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. You can also keep an eye out for the magical signs that will tell you exactly where you are when you’re entering Walt Disney World Resort areas.

When it comes to Parking at the Walt Disney World Resort, there’s always a parking lot available. If your parking spot happens to be a little further from the entrance, trams are always available to give you and your family a ride to the front of the theme park.

When you’re entering the theme park, you will be greeted by a friendly Cast Member. The daily standard parking fee is $22 and that fee will cover your vehicle for the day. For example, if you're visiting the Magic Kingdom Park, then decide you would like to park hop and drive to Epcot, just show the parking attendant your receipt and you’re good to go! No need to pay the fee a second time!

Preferred parking spots are very close to the entrance of the theme parks and are also available for a fee of $45 per day.

Jillian, I hope you and your family enjoy all the fall decorations at the Magic Kingdom Park during your visit. I love the Mickey pumpkins and fall colored buntings lining the streets of Main Street U.S.A!

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to stop by again. Helping you with the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
