Hello, We will be staying at Bay Lake Towers on rented points. We are not DVC members. Will we be allowed to visit the Top of World lounge? thank you, Kimberlee Musser

    Hi Kimberlee!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are about to stay at one of my favorite resorts! Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has the perfect “cool” mix of location and style. What other hotel gets to boast of a Monorail running straight through the Resort while being steps away from the most Magical Place on Earth?!

The Top of the World Lounge is a fantastic place to grab a drink, eat a dessert, and watch the nightly firework spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park. Unfortunately, you must be a member of Disney Vacation Club to access the lounge. At least one person in the traveling party needs to be a Member and present to show their ID at the entrance to the bar.

But never fear! There are a couple of other great options for fireworks viewing and overall fun at your Resort. If you would like to see a birds-eye view of the fireworks, book a late dinner at California Grill. It is hands down one the most delicious restaurants on property, and as a dinner guest, you have access to their outdoor patio with a perfect view of Happily Ever After.

If you are looking for specialty cocktails, or just a fantastic bar, look no further than Outer Rim. Gorgeous views and even better drinks are sure to be the perfect ending to your day!

Kimberlee, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Have a fabulous vacation!
