Hello! We will stay at the new cabin / Fort Wilderness next January. We are not planning to use car/golf cart. Is that possible? How often the internal bus is coming? And is the laundry area near the cabin?? Sorry for asking so many things! Thank you !!!

    Konnichiwa, Yuka!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question! I hope you are ready for a wonderful, adventurous stay in the new cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds! These brand-new cabins feature sleek modern finishings with nods to the great outdoors. They look marvelous, and I hope you enjoy staying here! Also, as a 2025 Guest, you will have admission to one of Disney's Water Parks on your check-in day, so be sure to pack a bag with your swimsuit and sunscreen! Even in January, you can enjoy splashing around at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, with temperature-controlled pools and attractions.

Now, let's get down to business! It is possible to get around Fort Wilderness without a golf cart; there is an internal bus system, so if you want to dine down at Trail's End Restaurant or visit the horses at  Tri-Circle-D Ranch, you can hop on the bus. Bus pickups generally occur every 20 minutes or so. There is also a Comfort Station near the Cabins that has a laundry area over by the  Wilderness Swimmin' Pool. If you prefer getting around with the golf cart, make your reservations as soon as possible by calling (407) 824-2472 (international rates may apply).

Yuka, I hope all of this information was helpful! I hope you and your family have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. The wilderness must be explored!
