Hello, We are going to be spending a couple of days at Disney World would we be able to leave the Park to go to a resort and then return to the Park?

It’s great to see you here at planDisney, Jennifer!

I’m happy you stopped by with your question for us.

Three cheers for preparing for your magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! Like I always say, planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth comes only second to actually being on vacation there. You’ll have an incredible time, and I’m so happy to discuss all things Disney with you!

Jennifer, as long as you have valid admission to the theme park, you can come and go as you please during operating hours

In fact, The Sunshine State just so happens to be warming up around Springtime, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to take advantage of those midday breaks. My plan of action, especially during the warmer months, is to rope drop at a theme park, then leave to swim at my Disney Resorts Collection hotel pool, and then head back to the theme park during the evening hours when the weather is cooling down.

If you’re wondering what the term “rope drop” means, it means to arrive at the theme park first thing in the morning as they’re allowing Guests in. And if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can take advantage of the Early Theme Park Entry, which will enable Guests to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes earlier!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic. Wishing you an enchanting visit, Jennifer!
