Hi Jessica, welcome to planDisney!
There are many perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The early bird gets the shortest wait times for attractions, which makes
Early Theme Park Entry such a treat.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is an exclusive perk for Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotel. I often plan my park days around this perk and understand your disappointment that the calendar is not what you expected during your stay. I've never been able to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where the dates are traditionally less predictable and frequent. The
5-day calendar does not dig into the Disney details about why Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is not offered at Magic Kingdom Park that week, but Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is offered at EPCOT on Monday, September 25.
I know this is not the calendar you hoped for, Jessica. Magic Kingdom Park is open until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, so my best tip for extending your time there is to get in line for the attraction with the longest wait time at 9:55 p.m. You'll be gifted a nearly-empty Main Street, U.S.A., as you exit.
For Extended Evening Theme Park Hours in EPCOT, make sure to join the extra 6:00 p.m. virtual queue for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You do not have to physically be in the park to join the 6:00 p.m. virtual queue. I also recommend eating something before the park closes to general admission Guests, as there are limited food options available during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
Enjoy the amenities of your Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, Jessica. The sights of immersive Disney theming, the sounds of memories being made, and the incredible smell (yes, the smell!) of the lobby will melt your doubts away - not to mention the amazingly comfortable beds!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
