Hi Eddy! Thanks for swinging by planDisney! I’m thrilled to help you plan your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. One of the many perks of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is access to
complimentary transportation options, including buses, boats, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner. These services make getting around the Resort convenient and stress-free. Plus, staying on-site allows you to enjoy early theme park entry and that unmistakable Disney service and hospitality that makes your vacation extra magical.
When it comes to the
Moderate Resort category, it’s one of my personal favorites because of its balance of immersive theming and great value. Growing up, my family often stayed at Disney's Dixie Landings Resort, now known as
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and I have fond memories of sampling the beignets at its sister resort,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. These two resorts offer a peaceful, charming atmosphere inspired by the Deep South and include pools with fun water features.
Another popular choice in the Moderate category is
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, which features stunning accommodations in the Gran Destino Tower, multiple dining options, and a gorgeous lakeside setting. While I haven’t stayed here personally, it gets rave reviews for its blend of elegance and comfort.
However, when it comes to combining theming, amenities, and ease of transportation,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is tough to beat! Its tropical island vibes make you feel like you’ve been transported to the Caribbean, and the resort’s main pool, themed like a colonial Spanish fortress, is one of the best at Disney World. For dining, Banana Cabana serves up delicious island-inspired cocktails, and you’re just a short walk or Skyliner ride away from dining options at nearby resorts, including Disney’s Riviera Resort.
The
Disney Skyliner is a true highlight of staying at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, with direct access to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A quick Skyliner ride will have you at the front entrance of Hollywood Studios or the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT in no time. For the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, complimentary buses are readily available, ensuring seamless access to all four theme parks.
I hope this information helps you find the perfect resort for your stay, Eddy! If you have more questions or would like recommendations for dining, activities, or anything else, please don’t hesitate to
send another question my way. I’d be happy to help make your trip as magical as possible!
See you real soon!
