Hi Maria and welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on becoming
Walt Disney World Passholders! We just love our annual passes and living in the Sunshine State gives us the opportunity to visit as often as possible.
You do not have to wait to
purchase an annual pass for your little one. You have an entire year to activate a new pass, so if you purchase one for her today, it won't activate until the first time she enters a park after she turns three and will be valid for an entire year at that point. You will have different expiration and renewal dates, but that is no big deal. It's great that you're thinking about purchasing a pass for her now since the
Disney Parks Blog mentioned that sales of new passes will be limited. Securing a pass for your daughter now guarantees that she will have one once she turns three, just in case pass sales are suspended again.
If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend adding the
Disney PhotoPass Downloads option to one of your annual passes. This option gives you an entire year of unlimited PhotoPass downloads taken by a PhotoPass photographer as well as any attraction photos you take. Since you have a little one in your family, you're going to want to keep all of those Disney memories you make on every visit to Walt Disney World. You can add this by
calling Passholder Services or by visiting any theme park ticket window.
Check out the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page on the Walt Disney World website. There is a plethora of helpful information available to help you maximize your fun while at Disney including recommendations for
attractions, shows,
restaurants and even
Disney Resort hotels.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
