Hello, We are planning to visit Disney World in late April. We have purchased dining plans for the adults going but wasn’t sure what my 2 year old would do since the dining packages are for 3 years and up.

    ChEARs Kendra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are about to have the most magical time with your family. Walt Disney World Resort is enchanting all the time, but is extra magical through little one’s eyes!

So, as you know, children under the age of three are not eligible for the Disney Dining Plan. (Bonus! They also do not need a ticket for entrance to the Parks!) Your kiddo is more than welcome to share an adult’s plate, or you can order separate items for her and pay out of pocket. But I can assure you, with the Disney Dining Plan, you will have a LOT of food, so there should be plenty to share! Every time we use the plan, we end up with a bunch of credits leftover (my kiddos love this, as they get to fill up a bag with snacks for the ride home and as treats to give to their friends!).

Kidlets three and under also eat for free at all buffet locations. You have some fantastic options, including one of our favorite Character Meals - Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The buffet is probably one of the most delicious on property, and the Characters in their safari gEAR are super cute! We also love the Crystal Palace! Pooh and friends are so much fun for the littles, and Mickey waffles abound!

Kendra, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back.

    Bon appetit!
