    Hello,We are planning a trip in Oct and have already starting buying gift cards to use in Disney (our little savings plan) Can we link these to our Magic Band when we get to Disney?

    Hi Lauren!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  You will be visiting Walt Disney World during one of my favorite times of year.  In October you will find mild temperatures and one of my favorite Disney events, Mickey's Not -So -Scary Halloween Party.   

    At this time you will not be able to link a Disney Gift Card to a Magic Band.   You can, however, use your gift cards to pay off any balance on your account.  On my last trip a few weeks ago I stopped by the front desk before I headed to my room for the night, and settled any charges I had made that day with my Disney Gift Card.  I did this each night, and never had to have anything charged to my credit card on file. 

    I love your "savings plan" idea, and I am so happy you are thinking ahead.    If you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation, I would love to continue to help you out.
