Hello! We are planning our next trip to Disney World in December 2013 and want to add in the cruise at the end of our stay. What is the best way to co-ordinate this?

Welcome aboard, Shannon! A Land and Sea vacation with Disney is the best vacation of all, as you get to experience the parks and cruise line and all of the adventures that come along with both!

Call Disney Cruise Line, where they can help you book your cruise, resort stay, park tickets and ground transportation to and from the port. It's the easiest way to book the entire vacation.

However, if you plan on taking advantage of a special pricing offer for a Disney resort, or you'd like to add the Disney Dining Plan to your resort stay, you'll need to book your cruise and park stay separately. Either way, you'll want to add the Disney Ground Transportation from the resort to the cruise port, and from the cruise port to the airport. This can be done by calling Disney Cruise Line. There is an additional cost of $35 per person each way for this, but I assure you, it is the way to go.

Disney will notify you the last night at your resort of where to have your bags the next morning. They take them from there, as you hop on the bus to the port. Your bags will meet you again in your stateroom. Disney takes care of all the details, so all you need to do is show up where and when they tell you, and they take it from there. Much easier than booking transportation through another company or renting a car. Then you're off to set sail with Captain Mickey and friends!

Let me know how I can help as you continue to prepare for your Surf and Turf vacation with Disney, Shannon!
