Dawn from Liverpool Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, We will be in the parks from 30.12.24 to 01.01.25. If we buy 3 days of dated park tickets, for the above dates, will we need an additional ticket for evening events on New Year's Eve?

Welcome to planDisney, Dawn! Let me just say, one of my most treasured memories is ringing in the New Year with my extended family inside Disneyland Park. We had just ridden Indiana Jones Adventure and we exited the queue just as the fireworks lit up the sky. Our family just watched in wonder as we stood in a huddle, right in the middle of Adventureland. It was just serendipitous and magical in every way! I just know that your Holiday visit to Disneyland Resort will be full of your own magical moments with your loved ones.

Generally, your standard ticket will grant you admission to most of the experiences offered throughout the theme parks during regular park hours, even on holidays! Unless there is a separately ticketed event (which has not currently been announced for New Year's Eve), you should have access to the wonderful seasonal sights, sounds, and unique experiences without having to purchase additional admission to celebrate the New Year! Just make sure you have both valid tickets and theme park reservations for each of your visit dates. You can view the theme park hours about 6 weeks in advance of your visit on the Hours & Events Calendar to assist in your planning.

Now, Dawn, keep in mind that there are bookable seasonal experiences that you might be interested in during your visit, including the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour. This walking tour honors some of the festive traditions that make up Disneyland's holiday history and includes reserved viewing of "A Christmas Fantasy Parade," plus some extra magical surprises along the way! Like most dining reservations and activities in the Enchanting Extras Collection, this guided tour is available for booking up to 60 days before your visit. But, there are plenty of other festive holiday experiences throughout the theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, and the hotels of the Disneyland Resort that don't require any additional reservation! Once you arrive, I suggest using the Disneyland mobile app and its map feature to orient yourself. It will update with holiday offerings as we approach that season, which officially begins November 15, 2024!

I hope this is all some useful information as you continue preparing for your grand adventure to 'The Happiest Place on Earth' later this year, Dawn. If we can assist with any other questions that come up for you, I hope you'll feel welcome to come back to planDisney, anytime!

    Warm hugs,
