Hi there, Laura, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
You're at the
Most Magical Place on Earth in a not-so-magical time, but I hope you're still making memories with your family. I have several pals in the parks this week, and they've enjoyed complimentary arcade time at their Disney Resort hotels, unique character greets in their lobbies, and crafts; LOTS of crafts! But let's talk about what will happen when everyone can safely return to the theme parks after the storm has passed.
You should be able to
modify any Lightning Lanes you've purchased and booked by heading to your My Disney Experience
mobile app. Select a pass you want to change by tapping the "Lightning Lane Passes" tile on the Welcome screen. You should be able to choose a new date and/or theme park, and you can follow the prompts to set up your new attraction selections.
You can stop by the front desk at your Disney Resort hotel or any
Guest Relations location if you need help. You can also use the Chat With Us feature in your mobile app. I did this yesterday, and while it took a few minutes for a response, I was notified when the Cast Member answered my question. You can also call the
Existing Tickets line for assistance, but hold times might be longer than usual due to the storm.
I'd also like to mention that most theme park tickets will
automatically be extended through October 11, 2025. So, you have options if you'd prefer to plan another visit. I recommend watching the
Weather Updates page for the latest details and safety information related to Hurricane Milton.
Laura, I hope you can experience some post-hurricane fun in the theme parks later this week. I know this probably hasn't been the vacation you were dreaming of, but magical memories can be made in unexpected ways!
planDisney is always here to help answer your questions, so please come back anytime. Stay safe out there!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
