Hello. We are very excited to be going on our first cruise to Alaska in a couple weeks! We will be on the ship during the World Cup and my boys are big soccer fans. Do you happen to know if the ship will have coverage? And places for families to watch?

Welcome aboard, Lisa! I bet you already have a countdown going on for setting sail to Alaska since you're so close! How exciting! I wish I were tagging along with you to the Great North on this amazing sailing!

Disney Cruise Line knows that even though guests are sailing on vacation, there are sports games they do not want to miss. So, when large sports events are taking place, I've seen many times when they will show the big game on the Funnel Vision screen above the pool. Other times, the games are playing in the sports bar, Diversions. You'll find that this bar is family friendly throughout the day, but becomes an adult only spot after 9:00 p.m.

Check your Personal Navigator each day (the schedule of events and activities onboard), as it will note the movies and shows scheduled to play on Funnel Vision, so you may find that a game is on there. If not, you can ask at Diversions and I bet you'll be able to catch the World Cup there.

Have fun planning the final details of your cruise, Lisa, and enjoy every magical moment onboard!
