Hi Christopher, and welcome to planDisney! I just love the vibes in the theme parks at night, with all of the glowing lights. And being there after regular park hours always feels extra special! So let’s chat about the tickets for your upcoming trip.
In my experience, special event tickets, like After Hours, will be automatically used over a regular park ticket, as long as you’re entering the park after the time listed on the event webpage. I chatted with a Cast Member, just to be sure, and they confirmed that special event tickets are prioritized when a guest holds multiple types of tickets eligible for the same day.
For
Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios, the event on January 14th takes place from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., but according to the event webpage, you can enter as early as 7:00 p.m. to maximize your magical evening! So, as long as you scan in after 7:00 p.m., you'll be good! I like to use the extra time to eat dinner and squeeze in something that isn’t usually open during the event, like the
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show. Check the
My Disney Experience app to confirm the schedule.
If you’ll still be at Disney World later in the week, don’t miss the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which opens on January 16th! It’s one of my favorite EPCOT festivals, and I love strolling around World Showcase, browsing all of the Disney-inspired artwork for sale, and trying food from the different Food Studios. One of my other must-dos is the
Disney on Broadway Concert Series, which is such a cool opportunity to hear Broadway stars singing beloved Disney tunes. And it’s included in your regular EPCOT ticket!
I hope you have a magical time at Disney World next week! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
