Hello-we are going to be going on the 4 day Bahama cruise Nov 10-14 2013 and then visiting WDW from the 14th to 18th. I am trying to find out if the any of the Disney princesses make character appearance on the Disney cruise ships?

Welcome aboard, Jay! Spending a few days at sea and then heading to the parks for even more Disney magic will make your trip so special!

There are quite a few Disney princesses on the Disney Dream. Usually, we see Tiana, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White and Ariel as well as Tinkerbell (even though she's a fairy, we still think of her when we think princesses). In fact, your little ones will be able to attend the Princess Gathering. Five or six Disney princesses arrive to quite a bit of music and fanfare in the atrium lobby. They meet with guests one at a time to take photos and sign autographs. My daughter insists on attending this royal gathering each time we sail.

Be sure to arrive early, as the line gets very long! We like to show up in the atrium about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time. We then sit down at the start of the line and write postcards to friends and family back home. Then, before we know it, the princesses are arriving and we're not stuck having to inch our way along in line for an hour, plus our postcards are ready to send!

We love meeting characters on the ships because the lines are shorter than at Walt Disney World, so we don't end up spending so much time waiting, but get to enjoy more activities! See as many princesses as you can onboard and you'll get to skip those meetings in the parks and have more time on the other attractions! Plus, on the ships, guests get surprise unplanned character interaction when just walking through the halls at times! You never know when Peter Pan will be running down the hallway pretending to protect you for pirates!

In addition to the princess gathering, there will be other meet and greet times throughout your sailing. Check your Personal Navigator each day which will list the times and locations for the meet and greets with characters.

I hope that helps as you count down these last few weeks until you set sail, Jay! Let me know if I can help with anything else!
