    Hello, We are curising and my daughter has food allergies. I know that disney accomodates this but was wondering about the variety of food that she will recieve. She's allergic to eggs, milk and nuts, will she be able to have dessert? Soy milk? Thanks

    Welcome aboard, Ian! Congratulations on booking an exciting cruise with Disney! Your family is sure to have an absolutely amazing cruise!

    One thing that I can tell you is that Disney is excellent in assisting guests with allergies so that they are able to fully enjoy the entire Disney Cruise Line experience. If you haven't done so already, please call Disney Cruise Line to be sure that your daughter's allergies are noted on your reservation.  

    Disney does recommend that anyone cruising with allergies should try to dine in the main dining restaurants for all meals, as the kitchens there are set up to be able to more easily accommodate special food preparation. While you are certainly welcome to enjoy meals by the pool or the buffet, the smaller galleys there make it harder to prevent cross-contamination, so you're probably better off in the main dining restaurants. Your first meal onboard will be the welcome aboard lunch, so as you arrive for that, ask to speak with one of the head servers to let them know about her allergies, and they will provide you with options for that meal. At all of your dinners, though, you will have the same service team, so you will not have to re-explain the allergies each night, since they will travel with you to each restaurant throughout your sailing.

    Soy milk is available at the main dining restaurants and specially requested through room service, so your daughter can certainly enjoy this each day. And please don't worry about dessert! Though I can't tell you exactly what they will prepare for her, your daughter will be offered a special dessert, made just for her each night. Your server and head server will be able to go over the options each day. Disney certainly won't let any little princess go without dessert just because of allergies. They always do their best to accommodate.
