Hello, We will be crusing on the Magic in May of this year. I haven't been able to locate anything on the Disney Cruise website detailing their policy on life vests. Do they provide them for the young children to use in the onboard pools as well as CC?

Welcome aboard, Martha! I bet your whole family is excited to set sail with Captain Mickey in a few months! There is so much excitement in store for everyone on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic!

I'm happy to tell you that there are plenty of life vests available for children to borrow both on the ship and at Castaway Cay. On the ship, you'll find racks of life vests of various sizes near the pools on Deck 9. At Castaway Cay, they are available near Pelican Plunge and a couple other spots. Just take one to use while your little one swims and then hang it back up when you're done.

I hope your family enjoys the new AquaLab and Twist n' Spout slide! I was on the Magic for the first time after it's renovation just last month and even took a ride on the Twist n' Spout myself! What fun! For big kids and grown-ups, my favorite was the new AquaDunk slide where you'll climb into a capsule, standing up, and wait for the 3, 2, 1 countdown before the floor drops out from beneath you, dropping you right into the slide. What a thrill ride that is! So, don't let the kids be the only ones having water fun on the ship, Martha! Give it a try!

Have fun as you continue to plan your cruise, and please let me know if you have other questions before you set sail. I'm happy to help!
