Hello Krista, and thank you for coming to the panel for advice!
New Year’s Eve at the
Disneyland Resort is one of the busiest days of the year, and for a great reason. The fireworks spectaculars that are usually scheduled for New Year’s Eve are breathtaking. Seeing them in person is a great bucket list item to try to check off.
With that shared, New Year’s Eve is also one of the rare days of the year when Disneyland Park may reach its capacity limit and stop letting Guests in until others leave -- this is for safety reasons. Therefore, although I would recommend
Goofy’s Kitchen for dinner in most situations, if seeing the firework spectacular is essential to you, I would recommend that you enter Disneyland Park and stay there until you are 100% sure you are ready to leave.
I do have a few other places you may want to consider for dinner that is inside Disneyland Park. The first recommendation is
Cafe Orleans. The food is fantastic, and if you sit outside, you can enjoy a view of the Rivers of America. Another option is the
Carnation Café, home to Walt’s chili. And lastly,
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo may be a quick-service restaurant, but the theming is top-notch, and the food is excellent too!
Enjoy starting the New Year at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Best wishes,
Lola
