Hello Taking the Mexican cruise aboard the Wonder this January with the family. Everything I have read says the weather will be chilly at sea.Does that mean I should not bother packing swimsuits? How cold will it get?

    Hi Jennifer,

Ahoy! I hope you have a wonderful time aboard the Wonder! I have only dreamed of sailing the Mexican cruise but you get to go soon.

When you travel to the Caribbean and Mexico in the winter, you will not have the humidity which is present in the summer. This makes for wonderful traveling. You also have the breezes off the water which makes for a chilly feel than if you were on land. I think a light jacket or sweater will handle most cool evenings.

I would still pack a bathing suit or two. I have never met a child on vacation who does not want to get into the pool. Plus the pool will be heated if it is too cold and there is always the hot tubs.

    Wishing you a magical cruise!
