Hello, Quick question on the busses. What time do they start running exactly? I see 45 minutes prior to park opening, is that Early Entry or Offical open?

Hello, Brian, and welcome to planDisney! We're excited to help you with all the details for your upcoming Disney getaway!

Disney's complimentary transportation services, including buses, the Skyliner, Monorail, boats, and ferries, begin running well before park opening to accommodate guests with early dining reservations, Early Theme Park Entry, or those arriving for regular park hours. Transportation schedules are designed to ensure guests have ample time to reach the park entrances, making it easy to start your day of magic stress-free! If you're catching a bus, aim to be at the bus stop at least an hour before you need to arrive, just to allow for wait times and travel.

Be mindful that buses could begin running earlier than the 45 minutes typically stated. Arriving an hour or so before the parks open gives you a little extra cushion. I've had some truly magical experiences when the buses started running as early as an hour and fifteen minutes before the parks opened, giving us plenty of time to get there and start the day on the right foot! It’s always a good idea to be prepared for that early magic!

Have the best morning magic at Walt Disney World, Brian! Please stop by and visit with us again soon! Be sure to keep your mobile device handy to log into your My Disney Experience account for directions around the resort and theme parks.

    Toodles,
