Hello, Planning to take kids 10yo, 8yo, 17mo to wdw early Dec. 2010. Would like to take a baby carrier for the 17mo. I now have a Mobywrap. What kinds do you see most, and what type of baby carrier would you recommend? Thanks!

Hi, Rachel!  I think you will find that the options parents use for baby carriers are across the board in terms of variety.  I've seen parents use everything from a full hiking back pack style of baby carrier to a Baby Bjorn, through to the Mobywrap and Maya Wrap type of carriers.  I would tell you to use what you think you'll be most comfortable with.  I used a Hug-a-Bub and a Maya Wrap with my girls, but found by the time they were about a year and a half, they didn't want to be in it as much, preferring instead to use the new found walking skills as often as possible.  Also, I found with one of my daughters, the Florida heat was just too much in a wrap, and she always ended up with a heat rash.  I switched then to using strollers exclusively with her.

If your little one is comfortable in the Moby, and you are used to carrying for long periods of time using it, I see no reason why you couldn't continue to use it at the theme parks.  Again, you might find once you get there that your little one prefers another form of transportation, so if you keep an open mind, I'd say go with what you know and plan to adapt as needed.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
