Hey there Gloria,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I always loved visits from my parents when I was in college - usually because it meant my fridge would stocked for a week or two! Add on to that a trip to the Disneyland Resort? That sounds like an amazing time.
According to the
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer important details section (near the bottom of the page), it says that "proof of eligible residency, including valid government-issued photo ID, is required for purchase and admission."
This special offer is available for use through June 2, so if your son is able to update his driver's license to reflect his current residency within ZIP codes 90000-93599 then he would most definitely be able to take advantage of this discount. Otherwise, you'll want to stick with standard
theme park tickets for this next visit.
From what I've seen, the Disneyland Resort has offered some kind of Southern California Resident Ticket Offer the last few years, so it might be worth it for your son to update his license either way. If he isn't able to take advantage of the discount this time, then he would be all set if there is another offer in the future! Keep an eye on the
Offers & Discounts page to see what's currently available.
Thanks again for your question, Gloria! I hope you and your family have a fantastic trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
