Hello, My son (3) and I are returning from a Disney Cruise. Is there DIsney transportation to Downtown Disney and back to Orlando Airport? I would really rather spend a few hours there than at the airport. Thank you

Welcome aboard, Jerald! Leaving the ship after an amazing Disney cruise is always bittersweet. You will have had an amazing time and made some really special memories, but then you do have to go home. It always helps if you book another cruise while you're onboard, so you have another magical adventure to look forward to!

Disney does not offer transportation from the cruise port to Downtown Disney and then to the airport. But, many guests with late flight departures find that booking a rental car from one of the many rental car spots near the port can be an easy way to get in a few extra hours of Disney magic before heading home. Before you set sail, check out the rental car agencies near the port, and see if making a car rental reservation makes sense for your family. The nice thing about doing this is that you can store your luggage in the trunk while you spend a few fun hours at Downtown Disney, then make your way to return the car at the airport.

Don't forget to check out Downtown Disney's webpage so you can see all the fun it has to offer. You might consider making reservations for a fun lunch there, or even at one of the Walt Disney World resorts. My family likes to sneak in as much extra Disney fun as we can before we head home!

Have fun as you continue to plan, Jerald!
