Welcome aboard, Judy! A cruise with Disney is the perfect multi-generational vacation! What a lucky little girl you have to get to spend a whole week with her grandparents at sea with Mickey and his crew!
You really can't go wrong with any stateroom on the Magic, but I do have a suggestion for you. My family and I like to sail Midship because it's easier to get anywhere onboard without having to go all the way to one end or the other. We also like to sail on a mid-level deck, for the same reason. My kids love sailing on Deck Six Midship because it is only a quick trip down one flight of steps to the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, the two
Youth Clubs where they spend so much time! Your granddaughter will adore Pluto's Pajama Party, Super Sloppy Science, dance parties with characters, crafts, sliding down the Slinky Dog slide off of Andy's bed in the Toy Story room, and dressing up like a fairy in Pixie Hollow. Oh, what a fun age! So, see if you can choose a Midship Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on Deck 6, and you'll be super close to all the action!
If you haven't already, check out the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at sea where your princess can receive a royal makeover. My daughter became Snow White and we have the best memories of the Fairy Godmother in Training turning her chair around to reveal to her the first look of her makeover. Then, she ran into Snow White herself in the halls and the two of them skipped around in their matching outfits. Such a magical moment! Reservations go quickly, so log in as soon as your 75 day mark approaches when first time Disney cruisers get to choose these fun extras.
Have fun planning, Judy, and please stop back if we can help with any other questions you might have as you continue to plan this special trip!
