Ahoy, Dee!
Isn't planning a Disney Cruise exciting? There are so many things to learn, so I am very happy that you have found the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask your questions!
When you are booking your cruise, whether you do it directly on the Disney Cruise Line
website, or through a travel agent, you will be required to pay a 20% deposit of your total cruise cost. This holds your reservation and locks in your rate. You can make
payments up until the "Paid in Full" date, which is 75 days prior to your sail date.
Once your cruise is paid in full, you can book your shore excursions. This is done on the Disney Cruise Line website, and will be charged to your stateroom once you are onboard the ship.
I hope this helps with your cruise planning. Please let me know if you have further questions that arise.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
