Hello, My family will be visiting port Orleans French quarter from 2/8-2/13. Will the pool be closed during the time? Thanks.

Hello Jennifer!  Port Orleans French Quarter is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World.  I just love the theming, I feel like I am walking through the streets of New Orleans!

I did call and verify with a cast member that both the main pool, and the kiddie pool will be closed during the time you are visiting.   This doesn't mean you can't have a splashtastic time in the pools of the Port Orleans Riverside Resort, just a short stroll or boat ride  down the Sassagoula River.   Not only does Riverside have one main pool named Ol' Man Island, they also have five leisure pools spread throughout this beautiful resort.

Your vacation is right around the corner!  I hope you have a magical time at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, and laissez le bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!)
