Hello,My family and I are staying at our home resort.Bay Lake Towers Jan.11-21,2001 and we have not decided on which DDP to use yet.My question is...Do you reccomend ADR even though it is the off season or will it be easy to get last min. reservations?

Hi, Robin!  I can't recommend enough making at least some Advanced Dining Reservations.  With the increasing popularity of the Disney Dining Plan, competition for a table at the most popular restaurants can get tough, and I hate to hear stories from people who had their heart set on a particular dining experience, only to find out that they can't get a table for any of the days of their vacation.

If you don't want to book yourself for every meal so that you have some flexibility, choose a handful of dining experiences you would be disappointed to miss, and go ahead and make those reservations.  Then when you get down there, you can fill in with whatever restaurants are open when you want to go and grab a bite to eat.

Some of the most difficult reservation to get will be at Cinderella's Royal Table; Chef Mickey's; 'Ohana; the California Grill; and Boma.  With Cinderella's Royal Table, you practically have to be on the phone exactly 180 days in advance of your meal, as soon as the phone lines open in the morning!

The larger your party, the more I encourage an advanced dining reservation!  It can be tough to accommodate larger parties!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
