Hi Leander!
I always tell folks that Walt Disney World is the ultimate vacation destination because there are so many attractions and activities that are fun for family members of all ages. On our next trip my oldest will be 13 while my youngest will be 3, so I totally understand needing to keep everyone happy!
Make it a priority to visit the attractions that everyone will enjoy together. Our favorites include Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Don’t be afraid to divide and conquer. If your little one wants to meet a special character, but your older child must ride Space Mountain, don’t be afraid to split up so that both kids can experience their “must-do’s”. To capture all those magical moments,
we purchase Memory Maker on every trip. This means I’ll have all the PhotoPass photos from our vacation, including on-ride photos for select attractions and character meet-and greets that have a photographer. Even if we separate for a short time, I have awesome photos of everyone’s vacation fun.
Another idea would be to book something extra special for each child. Your youngest family member may enjoy a makeover at
The Pirate’s League or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Maybe your teen would appreciate
Dine with an Imagineer, or Disney’s
Dolphins in Depth experience?
I hope some of these suggestions are helpful. Let me know if you have additional questions I can help with!
Wishing you Membership Magic!
