Hello, My daughter has just turned 10 and we are having a hard time with the menus at Disney. She loves the kids menu. Will they ever let her order off kids and just charge a little more? She is still a kid and wants her Mickey shaped waffles...discouraged

    Hey Alene,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your dining question!  As a mom of four with one child who is a rather picky eater, I can certainly understand your concern. I have always found that the servers at Disney restaurants do their very best to accommodate Guests.

Although it can depend on the restaurant location, my 11-year-old son has been allowed to order a kids' menu item at Table-Service restaurants.  Another option we've been given is to order an adult portion of a kids' meal. This is particularly helpful if your daughter has a hearty appetite, but prefers a kids' menu item. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at 407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, via My Disney Experience app or by going online.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Alene!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
