Hello, My daughter (11) and I plan to go to Fantasia mini golf and tour the Boardwalk area. We'd also like to rent one of the 2 person mini speed boats. What would be the closest/best place to park and also to rent the boat in this area?

Hi, Tracey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think you have a very fun day planned with your daughter! My kids would give your choices their seal of approval, as we enjoyed both of these activities on our last family trip. I'd be happy to help!

Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf is comprised of two courses. The Fairways Course resembles a traditional golf course, and it is the more challenging of the two, with sand traps and water hazards; my boys play on their high school golf team, so I expected them to choose this one. Instead, they wanted to play the Gardens Course, which is 18-holes of whimsical fun. It was my lucky day because this was the only time I've ever been able to beat them at golf! Fantasia Gardens and Fairways has complimentary parking available for playing guests. I spoke with two Cast Members who both assured me that you should be able to leave your car in the lot for a short time after your round. I suggest confirming this with a Cast Member when you arrive at the golf course.

The closest marina for Motorized Boat Rentals would be the one located at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, which sits on the shore of Crescent Lake. In my experience, it is probably about a 15-minute walk. If you prefer, you could move your car and park at the resort. There is complimentary standard, self-parking available while enjoying select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Still, it is limited and is at the discretion of the security guard at the gate. Valet Parking is also an option at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts for $33.

I suggest renting a Sea Raycer, which seats two people. While it doesn't go very fast, my 14-year-old Mouseketeer thought he was King of the World when told he was allowed to drive. They rent by the half-hour, and we were able to extend our time by fifteen minutes. These can be popular, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit.

I hope your trip is a hole in one, Tracey! If you have any more questions, remember we're all ears!
