Hello, Is there a list of WHEN at WDW Marathons occur? Or big events? I'm actually trying to avoid them. Right now I am looking at March 8-14 (travelling on the weekend to avoid a night/day in the parks on a Sat or Sun). Just wondering and thank you!

Hello there, Katherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

I am right there with you on trying to intentionally avoid visiting Walt Disney World Resort during times in which events take place! I will say, though, that many runDisney event weekends rarely have a heavy impact on crowd levels or otherwise inconvenience general Guests. However, if you are looking to avoid any of these events, I would recommend checking out the runDisney website. Here, you will find a list of all of the runDisney events and will be able to identify which weekends these take place.

Fortunately, it seems as though there are no major events scheduled during the time in which you are currently planning on visiting! On a personal note, the end of February and beginning of March is one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort! During this period of time, you can often avoid the crowds associated with spring break while still taking in special spring events that take place at Walt Disney World Resort such as the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! It is so much fun to take in all of the gorgeous gardens around Epcot while also savoring seasonal eats available at the event-exclusive Outdoor Kitchens!

I hope this information will assist you in continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
