Hi, Jayme! Having groceries delivered to your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel is my number one Moms Panel tip, and it's something I've been doing for the last ten yEARs. Not having to pack granola bars and diapers in your luggage, means you have more room for souven-EARs, if you know what I mean!
Garden Grocer is the original Walt Disney World Resort grocery delivery service, and it's the one I usually use. I spoke with one of their representatives today, and he said that the policy changes that went into effect on October 1 do not apply to grocery delivery orders. I also called Walt Disney World Guest Services, and I was assured that this
new policy only affects third party mobility vendors (scooters, strollers, ECVs, etc.) and that grocery orders will still be allowed to be left at Bell Services. Just keep in mind that
Walt Disney World Resort Bell Services charge a $6 delivery fee to have groceries delivered to your room (however, you may still pick up your groceries from Bell Services with no additional charge). I know that many of my Moms Panel friends, including
Brandy, have used other grocery services, including Instacart and Amazon Prime Now, and they highly recommend them.
Jayme, I hope this helps you save some time and money (and room in your suitcase)! Have a magical vacation.
Eean
